The Washington State Association for Justice has honored Ed Budge as the 2023 Trial Lawyer of the Year.
The Washington State Association for Justice is the oldest and largest civil justice advocacy organization in the Pacific Northwest with more than 2,400 member attorneys.
In receiving this award, Ed joins a list of distinguished Washington attorneys who, since 1978, have been similarly honored as advancing “the art and skill of advocacy, either in trial or by training others so as to benefit humankind.”
In accepting the award at the organization’s annual convention in Vancouver, Ed remarked on the inspiration that great trial lawyers have had on his career and honored the support of his mother, wife and law partner, Erik Heipt.
